Writing Updates

It’s already the middle of September – I’m not sure how that happened so fast! We’re in North Florida and experiencing uncharacteristically lovely weather! We are having temperatures in the 80’s, which is very much Fall weather for us. I have no doubt we will be back in the 90’s by the time you read this, but for the moment I’m enjoying every second I can get outside!

A lot is happening in the world, I suppose a lot is always happening in the world, but in those moments of desolation I am constantly reminded that we are merely pilgrims. That this world and life, while monumentally important, are not the end goals. We were made for eternity, and we must do our best to remain focused on our Lord and helping as many people as possible remain focused on Him as well. Prayer is truly the most powerful thing any of us can do and I would encourage each of you to pray for our world, our leaders, and each other. I welcome every bit of prayers I can get, so if you have an extra moment when talking with our Lord feel free to mention me and my family. You, my readers, are always in my prayers as well!

Now on to happier topics! We had 12 entries into my publishing company’s writing contest – so that’s super exciting! I look forward to reading through those books. We plan to announce winners in December 😊 I will definitely share those with you here, as well as on Instagram and Facebook.

I’m thrilled to announce that Catholic Mom and Daughter have reviewed Altered and are running a giveaway for Haunted (is this right?). If you aren’t familiar with them, you should be!! Check out their review of Altered here.

If you have been following me on social media, you might be wondering what’s with all the baking and blanket making – we want writing!! Don’t worry I’ve been writing – I promise!! It’s just showing me writing is not particularly interesting 😂.

I have at least 3 short stories in the Altered World that I very much plan to release before the end of the year – hopefully things go as planned! And UnAltered the sequel is coming along nicely. Which is great because with each of my books I get to a point where I think it’s never going to come together and then it does and man that is a good feeling!!

I hope each of you enjoy the start of Fall and take a moment to relish in the beauty our Lord has created in your life!

Happy Reading
