Hello wonderful readers, I am in search of Beta Readers for my upcoming novel! You are likely wondering what is a beta reader. Great question! A beta reader is someone who receives a free ebook copy of my book before it is released. Amazing right??!! But they have a job to do! Now on to the Blankets! One of my dreams is to learn how to knit. Santa, knowing all my hopes and dreams, brought me knitting needles three Christmases ago. After receiving such a thoughtful gift from St. Nicholas, I watched several youtube knitting tutorials. The knitting needles were promptly donated to charity (I couldn’t even figure out how to start!). This was a definite disappointment to my aforementioned dream. But I quickly determined I don’t currently have extra time where I am sitting and not already doing something else – writing, reading, helping my boys with school, holding my daughter, folding laundry, meal planning, checking email, eating, etc. – and so I have accepted that this is a wonderful dream, but it is a not-quite-yet-dream. Thankfully, Kaaryn at Blessing of Blankets has made a beautiful business out of her dream! I saw Kaaryn on Instagram and thought her blankets were beautiful so I ordered my daughter a lovely baby blanket. I received it yesterday and have already ordered a larger one for a friend!
